Indianapolis Museum of Art

One of our favorite places for a family outing is the grounds of the IMA. Sure it's a billion dollar museum with a bajillion dollars worth of fine art, but I've never been inside. Just the gardens for Daddy.

Last Sunday Isaac and Jacob explored the grounds in search of the river, which was at the far end of the trail. We did find it an a few interesting things along the way.

Some days this behavior is a welcome change.

2008 Indiana State Fair

The four of us went to the Fair here in Indianapolis on Thursday. Our neighbors, the Crums, were kind enough to provide us with not only tickets, but a pass for free rides. So Isaac and Jacob were able to ride maybe a dozen of the carnival rides.

In addition to rides there were the usual elephant ears, sudden rain showers, ice cream cones and animal barns. We got home close to 10 pm, but did have a fun outing.
