Nascar Comes To Town

Isaac, Jacob and I went down to Speedway this evening to see the 'Parade of Haulers.' 40 or more NASCAR haulers in a long line. All of their favorites (and Daddy's too) including Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhart Jr.

The boys even got to meet Earnhart's truck driver, Speed. He hoisted them up into the cab and let them have a look inside. Pretty cool.

We are planning to attend practice at the track tomorrow. I expect to be awakened before 6 AM. Practice starts at 2.

Holiday World 2009

Our family visited Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. Daddy and Jacob had never been, but Nancy visited there often as a child. The boys enjoyed the rides to a point, before insisting we get on with the water park. It was a good day, with Nancy and me both enjoying a few rollercoasters and other such grown-up fare. I don't think I have been on a roller coaster since Cedar Point in 8th Grade.

We enjoyed it immensely and are thinking of making this an annual tradition.

Indians Baseball

Isaac and Jacob went to their first baseball game yesterday, the Indianapolis Indians versus the Syracuse Chiefs. They enjoyed it very much, especially because the Indians won, 5-4. (Actually, it was Isaac's second game, he reminds me.)

Isaac enjoyed the ice cream and Jacob enjoyed everything.

Happy Mothers Day, 2009

I had a nice mother's day with the boys. They each made me wonderful cards, and Jacob told me last night that I was the perfect mommy for him. That was a great present. The boys along with Michael bought me a digital keychain, so I can show all my friends their pictures.

Grandpa Gordon said we aren't keeping our blog up as much as we should, so I am going to do my best to update it today with a few new pics. Here's what's been going on in the Krosschell family.

Isaac has been losing teeth left and right. Currently he has his two front teeth out, and the two new bottom ones are in but, as our dentist says, "Orthodontia is in your future, Isaac." I guess we shouldn't be surprised, as our parents spent a mint our our teeth :)

Grammy made some cute tooth fairy pillows for Isaac and Jacob. For Isaac, it's a money making venture right now.

Great Gordon is celebrating a birthday today.. still 29 I think! Isaac and Jacob wanted to send a long distance message to the coolest Great Grandpa in the universe. How many great grandpa's do you know that shop on Ebay?
